PLEASE look at the original reference pic, because it's so much better!  [link] Lineart done using the pen tool (set to 'workpaths' ) and then stroking the workpaths. (only way I can get a decent line in Photoshop, plus it's hard to draw a straight line with the zero resistance on a tablet, so it's nice to be able to tweak the lines a bit) I didn't mean for the pose to be 'easy' - I just thought it would be a cute pose. (like - I didn't draw the eyes, and the body's practically not there) I'm really liking the glove, though... even though it wouldn't be that glossy in real life. XD;;;; EDIT: This is actually a Birthday present for  ... and her birthday was the 26th of December. XD;;;EDITEDIT: added the heart buttons and slightly shaded the yellow top... 'cause I forgot.  EDITEDITEDIT: added highlights to the hair, as in the original. 0_0 Geez, it's like I really made a "spot the difference" pic, isn't it? Edit #4: re-did the dodgy highlights (pun intended) to something more subtle. (sorry everyone!) Edit #5: Jucali, you have my permission to use the following image(s) for the 2009 deviantART birthday project; and I certify the I am the owner of the copyrights to such image(s). |

There were things which I noticed as I went along, like the lineart for the hair in the front is a bit weird - like the hair is too short and the fringe too wide - also his right arm seems to be too forward - also the legs coming out of his head? XDDD COULD be explained through perspective, but they still seem small. And the shoes... tried to draw sneakers, but... ._.
But thanks for accepting the intention!
