This isn't to say that I'm not interested in others' opinions or critique (with the pics that I put time into, at least), but I've seen far too many people cower in fear, wondering how their watchers will react if they posted something controversial or worry about losing a few.
It's far better to have watchers who are made up of people who like you for what you do, than watchers who are made up of people with whom you have to suppress yourself in order to please. What a chore it would be to have to grind out art, feeling like that.
Shouldn't your gallery be an extension of yourself? Isn't art meant to be an expression of yourself?
NOTE: Thanks to some comments below, I just wanted to clarify that I didn't mean stolen art! (or art that breaks the rules of dA)
EDIT: it's 2 frames, both 0.5 second delay. If the rhythm in which it flashes doesn't seem even, it's a problem with your browser. Damn you, Firefox. You're just lucky I hate Microsoft more.

Thank you so much for making this stamp. It's your profile. Draw what you want. It's no one else's business. They don't like it? They could just ignore it instead. They can't dictate what you can and cannot draw UNLESS it breaks the rules.
Agreed! I really like this stamp. Sometimes when I'm drawing for a group I just make it sketchy (as placeholder because I have a hard working schedule). I'm currently working on a comic for it which it's just a sketch as well, but it counts. Also I love to draw Pokemon, and sometimes Animal Crossing stuffs.... People unwatching me sometimes when I do and upload sketches aka placeholders for the group, or when I'm drawing more Pokemon then Animal Crossing stuffs (or stuffs for the group). And I felt a bit overwhelmed for several days and I was thinking about to create a new account. But that's my account, that's my gallery, and I can draw what I want.
Too bad no one actually ever uses this stamp as it's described in the description. Every time I see someone with this stamp on their page, they're always a 14-17 year old brat who can't stand ANYONE saying that their art is anything but perfect. "IT'S MY GALLERY!!!!!! IF YOU DUN LIEK IT DUN LOOK!!!!11"
I like the message of this stamp (I used wonder about that too, and still have a quadrillion different accounts for different things as to not unsettle the watchers), but the stigma with it is unfortunate.
